WWE veteran has completely given up on AEW; says, "There's no hope for them"

A WWE and WCW veteran admitted that he had given up on AEW. The veteran said there was no hope left for Tony Khan's promotion.

The personality in question is former RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff. The WWE Hall of Famer has mostly been critical of the All Elite Wrestling product for quite some time now. Eric has also pointed out Tony Khan's creative blunders several times.

The 69-year-old seems to have given up on the promotion. During a recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, Eric Bischoff stated that he had given up on AEW as the company had been repeatedly fumbling ''good opportunities.''

“They’re horrible. I’ve given up. You know what? I used to get really frustrated with them because I actually hate seeing people sc**w up good opportunities. I know what that feels like, and I don’t want that to happen again. I know what that feels like and know how hard good opportunities come by, so when you see somebody shooting themselves in the foot day after day, week after week in every possible way, it’s frustrating for me, and I would vent that frustration," he said.

Bischoff further stated there was no hope for Tony Khan's promotion, adding that the company was ''too stubborn to learn!''

"Now, it’s just like, 'Yeah, whatever!' It is what it is. There’s no hope for them. Nothing’s going to turn their company around. There’s no light bulb gonna go off in anybody’s head and realize, 'Oh, this is actually getting people who watch TV.' They have no idea about what they’re doing, and they’re too stubborn to learn," he said. [H/T: PWMania]

WWE veteran says AEW doesn't know how to tell a story

During the same discussion, Eric Bischoff claimed that no one in AEW knew how to tell a story, asserting that nobody in the company knew ''what a story actually is.'' The former WWE RAW authority figure also explained with an example how no one cared about stories that were not compelling.

“Not there because there’s nobody that knows how to tell the story. There is nobody there who knows what a story actually is. I use this analogy sometimes because it’s easy to understand. Boy meets girl, boy gets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back. That’s a story. It’s not very compelling. Nobody cares!" he said. [H/T: PWMania]
