A former WWE manager recently talked about a star's return to AEW that no one expected last week on Collision. This would be Dutch Mantell talking about the first appearance of Marko Stunt in almost three years.
The former Jurassic Express member surprisingly emerged as Jack Perry's mystery challenger for his TNT Championship. He would end up facing his former stablemate in his first title defense. Marko was last seen in-ring competition on the promotion back in September 2021 during an episode of Dark: Elevation.
During a recent edition of Story Time with Dutch Mantell, the veteran spoke about Marko Stunt's return and how despite him being undersized compared to most other wrestlers, he worked hard and took a lot of bumps during the match.
"Marko Stunt, he's in that never-neverland between being an undersized individual, the old school for it was a midget. He's bigger than a midget but way, way smaller than a normal guy. So, he's how tall, five foot two? So, he's very, very short, but I will say one thing about him. I watched the match, and he worked his a** off. I mean he took some bumps that were really, really good and I mean Jack Perry will never see another match where he gets to manhandle a guy like he did..."

He then admitted that he had never seen a match of this sort, and although this would not be a game-changing match, it was still enjoyable and the crowd reception was good.
"I didn't wanna watch the whole match so I would go forward on it, but actually, they worked hard, it wasn't a bad match, and the crowd, they were receptive to it. So, you couldn't draw a dime with it unless maybe you could tell a story with it somehow, but it'd be a really short run story. But I've never seen anything like that. I will say that AEW did something that I've never really seen before and it won't draw a dime but they worked hard and it wasn't a bad match." [56:55-58:40]
Marko Stunt reunited with another former stablemate after AEW Collision
Last week, a few moments after his match, Marko Stunt was backstage being interviewed by Lexy Nair regarding his return to AEW.
However, during the interview, they were interrupted by Killswitch (FKA Luchasaurus) who simply looked at Stunt briefly before walking past without saying a word. All three former members of Jurassic Express were in attendance for the show in what was an unexpected reunions of sorts.
This could be an one-off appearance for Marko Stunt, and it remains to be seen if he'll return to AEW soon, and possibly have another interaction with his former stablemates.
