AEW had another backstage controversy take place recently. A WWE veteran was unhappy with Tony Khan for the way he handled it.
Dutch Mantell is the latest to comment on the reported backstage confrontation between Britt Baker and MJF. A couple of weeks ago, the AEW locker room witnessed another fight take place - this time between Baker and Friedman. After Baker was seen mouthing off about Friedman in the women's locker room, Maxwell confronted her after he was informed by his girlfriend Alicia Atout about what Baker said about him.
As a result, an investigation was conducted and Britt Baker was suspended for two weeks while Maxwell Jacob Friedman didn't receive any punishment. Several critics and legends have commented on the issue since the news came out initially.
Speaking on his Story Time with Dutch Mantell podcast, the former WWE manager was not happy with the way Tony Khan handled the whole situation. He even claimed that the AEW boss wanted everyone to like him which is why he didn't get involved in the situation.

"Tony needs to take...and I've said this a hundred times maybe not on this show but if you're going to own a company, take it, run it, take charge of it....No that was his committee doing it [on Tony suspending Britt Baker] and he just said, 'Okay, I don't want to deal with it,' and he didn't want to deal with it. Tony wants everybody to like him, which they like him fine because he's supplying the money." [1:12:49 - 1:13:22]
Tony Khan confirms that Hologram's AEW debut was canceled
Hologram recently made his AEW debut against Gringo Loco. Since then, he has captivated fans with his in-ring skills. However, it seems like his debut was supposed to take place much sooner.
During a recent interview with Q101, Tony Khan mentioned that Hologram was supposed to debut in 2020 but that got canceled due to the pandemic.
"We had brought him in, I was looking to make him Hologram then, and the world kind of went crazy, and he was locked down in Mexico for a long time. It was a long time before he made it back to America, and then I thought eventually, as things opened up, I really wanted to get Hologram in AEW. It’s been tremendous, it was great having Hologram team with Mistico last Saturday." H/T:[Fightful]
It remains to be seen if Hologram will receive a major push during his time in All Elite Wrestling.
