A WWE veteran has weighed in on the hot debate about whether John Cena would have been a heel when he was a top star. This is one of the most discussed topics regarding the leader of the Cenation.

Cena is one of the most recognizable stars in the wrestling world and one of the few stars who has remained a babyface for most of their careers. There was a time, especially at the beginning of his stint, when he was a heel.

John Cena was a divisive figure among the fans, especially in the last decade, and Jeff Jarrett has now given his take on him being a heel. He was speaking on his My World podcast when he said:

“Wouldn’t you say that he was such a lightning rod that the ones that wanted to boo him all those years, he was a heel to them during that?… You wanted to see him play the role of an antagonist.” [H/T eWrestling News]

WWE analyst wants to see Gunther vs John Cena

WWE analyst Sam Roberts usually weighs in on wrestling news, and he has now revealed that he wishes to see John Cena take on Gunther.

Cena will be retiring from wrestling after a farewell tour next year, and there are many matches he could have. Sam Roberts has stated that he wants to see the Ring General take on the leader of the Cenation at WrestleMania 41.

He was speaking on NotSam Wrestling when he said:

"I wanna see Gunther vs. Cena. That's the match that I wanna see at 'Mania. I think that's what sold me. I mean, I really wanna see Cena vs. Gunther at WrestleMania. I just think it's too good to pass up."

That would definitely be a WrestleMania-worthy match and something that the fans would love.
