WWE star Xavier Woods recently reacted to Claudio Castagnoli's heel turn on Bryan Danielson at AEW All Out 2024. The American Dragon is the current AEW World Champion.

Bryan Danielson successfully defended his World Title against Jack Perry at AEW All Out. After the match, he was ambushed by Killswitch (Luchasaurus) which led to Christian Cage attempting to cash in his World Title shot on Danielson. However, the Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and PAC) made the save for The American Dragon.

In a shocking turn of events, Claudio hit a brutal uppercut on Bryan Danielson which led to a savage beatdown by Jon Moxley on his Blackpool Combat Club stablemate. The shocking heel turn of Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley, and PAC left the fans in shock and Wheeler Yuta was held back from aiding the champion.

On X (formerly known as Twitter), Xavier Woods reacted to Claudio Castagnoli's tweet with a throwback to his own King Xavier Woods gimmick:

Bully Ray on Jon Moxley suffocating Bryan Danielson with a plastic bag at AEW All Out

Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and PAC turned on Bryan Danielson after his title defense at All Out. After beating down Danielson, Moxley suffocated him with a plastic bag which led to some backlash from the fans.

However, in a recent edition of Busted Open Podcast, Bully Ray noted how it reminded him of Terry Funk and Ric Flair and how they were the first to do the move in professional wrestling:

"The first thing that came to mind was Terry Funk and Ric Flair. How do you not think about that? Because Terry Funk and Ric Flair, to my knowledge, were the first and only people to do it. The implication was very violent," Bully Ray said. [H/T WrestlingINC]

Bryan Danielson is scheduled to defend his AEW World Title against Nigel McGuinness at Grand Slam. It will be interesting to see if the Blackpool Combat Club interferes in the matchup.
