"You made a big mistake" - Chris Jericho warns 4-time WWE champion

Chris Jericho has just sent a stern warning to a certain former WWE Superstar on social media following a heated incident between them last night. This would be Matt Cardona (FKA Zack Ryder).

The two former WWE Intercontinental Champions are in a feud for the ROH World Championship following Cardona staking his claim to the title. Jericho decided to turn up the heat by invading the promotion the Indy God calls home, appearing during a GCW show last night and attacking him and other names featured on the show.

On Instagram, Chris Jericho posted footage of himself entering the venue and sneaking up on Matt Cardona before attacking him with a baseball bat. He mentioned how he did this to remind Cardona who he was dealing with. The two are set to clash this Friday at ROH Final Battle at the legendary Hammerstein Ballroom.

Matt Cardona reacts after Chris Jericho's attack

After several appearances by Matt Cardona on both AEW and ROH, Chris Jericho has decided to get back at him by invading his "turf" and taking the fight to GCW.

Cardona was not a fan of this, as he claimed that by invading the place he called home, Jericho was now making this personal. He mentioned how he could not wait to become the ROH World Champion.

"LA SCREWJOB! @IAmJericho had the balls to invade my turf and attack me tonight at @GCWrestling_! Now this is personal. I can’t wait to win the @ringofhonor World Championship!" said Cardona.

Jericho has now held the title for around 42 days and counting. It remains to be seen whether Matt Cardona can dethrone him and what this means for the promotion moving forward.
