A wrestling veteran took a shot at Tony Khan after he made controversial comments against WWE. The star being discussed is Eric Bischoff.
Bischoff used to be a prominent figure of WCW. He also worked for WWE for several years after the previous promotion's closing. He recently made headlines for criticizing AEW and its CEO for the promotion's booking.
The AEW President has been the talk of the town after getting attacked on the latest Dynamite episode. On the next day, he was seen wearing a neckbrace at the NFL Draft to sell the injury.
Recently, Khan appeared on the NFL's Kickoff Show and said some harsh words about WWE. He then claimed that AEW is "the Pepsi of pro wrestling."
Recently, Eric Bischoff took to Twitter to dig at AEW's Head of Creative, saying he is more like "a urine sample" than Pepsi.
"No @TonyKhan, You’re more like a urine sample than you are Pepsi. #NFLdraft," Eric wrote.
Tony Khan reveals why he doesn't have a good relationship with Eric Bischoff
Speaking on the K&C Masterpiece podcast, the AEW President claimed that Eric has devoted his podcast to taking shots at his company.
"There haven't been that many wrestling companies that have risen to international prominence. There aren't that many wrestling companies in modern history that have sold tens of thousands of tickets and hundreds of thousands pay-per-views. In that sense, Eric and I do have something in common. I do respect his accomplishments. He just has a show, a podcast, that is largely devoted to taking shots at us and a lot of it isn't rational or logical or truthful. I don't think those things seem to matter to him anymore," said Khan.
It remains to be seen what is next for Tony Khan after he was attacked last Wednesday night.
