AEW offers the pro wrestling world unique options, as many of its wrestlers can appear for other promotions. Jon Moxley and Montel Vontavious Porter are currently involved in two of the biggest All Elite storylines, and now a link between the two heels has emerged in the form of a controversial star who just publicly lashed out at MVP.

The AEW World Champion returned to Dynamite in late August to begin his takeover with Marina Shafir. During a backstage segment on Wednesday night show, Moxley and Shafir attacked three security guards before a fourth guard ran up but quickly put the brakes on, then ran away. The fourth guard was portrayed by indie star Joe Alonzo, who also worked security during the MJF vs. Daniel Garcia brawl. Alonzo was also booked this past Saturday by rapper Westside Gunn, who was launching his 4th Rope promotion with MVP as the company's Commissioner.

The King of Chicago interrupted Porter on Saturday and touted himself as the most hated man going. Joe Alonzo hyped himself, but the 4th Rope Wrestling Commissioner responded with insults and then brought out PCO for an assist. Alonzo later lost a Steel Cage match to John Wayne Murdoch. He recently took to Instagram to share the footage, plus a jab at MVP and other veterans.

"Tired of these vets pretending like they don’t know who I am [face with steam from nose emoji x3] #HeelsHaveEyeslll #4thrope," Joe Alonzo wrote with the video below.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

The former NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion also shared a photo from the segment with MVP and shared that with another taunt aimed at The Hurt Syndicate's manager.

"'I’M COMING!!!' [face with tears of joy emoji x 3] I, the 'King of Chicago' JOE ALONZO, was in-fact indeed the 'MVP' last night!! [winking face emoji] [camera emoji]: @beezzzzy #HeelsHaveEyeslll #4THROPE," Joe Alonzo wrote with the photo below.

The Chosen One worked two WWE matches in 2022. Alonzo lost to Veer on Main Event in March, then to Gunther on SmackDown in April. His first two AEW matches occurred on Dark, where he lost to Jake Hager and Cody Rhodes in early 2020.

Joe then was on the losing end of five multi-man tag team bouts, most recently teaming with Beef and Rosario Grillo for a September Collision dark match loss to Colt Cabana, Angelico, and Serpentico.

Big update on The Hurt Syndicate ahead of AEW Dynamite

AEW previously announced that The Hurt Syndicate will be on this week's live Dynamite. This comes after Bobby Lashley debuted last week to reunite with MVP and Shelton Benjamin, destroying Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana right after Shelton's loss to Swerve.

Officials have since begun a contract storyline with Lashley, teasing that Tony Khan may not be able to get The All Mighty to ink a deal. It remains to be seen if Khan will be on Dynamite this week for some sort of negotiation segment.

"The Hurt Syndicate LIVE! @FightBobby shocked the world last week on Dynamite. Will AEW GM & CEO @TonyKhan be able to get Lashley to sign the dotted line? @the305mvp | @sheltyb803," AEW wrote.

AEW has not confirmed when Lashley's in-ring debut will take place, but he's rumored to face Swerve at Full Gear. Benjamin won his first two matches against Lio Rush and Sammy Guevara but lost last week against Strickland.
