Bryan Danielson is one of the most charismatic wrestlers ever. He is rightly hailed as the GOAT, and his actions as a wrestling star are proof. He simply is one the best to ever do it.
However, his career is at a crossroads right now as he faces his toughest challenge since he signed up with AEW. He will challenge Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship at All In 2024, and the catch is that if he loses, he will retire.
He talked himself into a corner with that decision a few weeks ago on Dynamite, and now he has to win. Otherwise, the curtains will fall on one of the most storied wrestlers in history.
If Bryan Danielson has to change his mind about retiring, there is only one person who can do it: his wife, Brie Bella.

Brie Bella holds the key
Family has always been one of the most important things for Bryan Danielson. He is a devout family man and takes it very seriously. In fact, he's revealed that he promised his daughter that he would retire from wrestling once she turned seven.
But with him now deeply settled in AEW, Brie Bella and his daughter hold the key in order for him to continue what he loves doing. Having him wrestle a bit longer will help his daughter fully see what her father is capable of in the ring, and it also adds an emotional touch.
Convincing Bryan Danielson to continue as AEW Champion
If Bryan Danielson does indeed win the world title at All In, he need not retire and relinquish the belt. As per what he promised Swerve Strickland, he will only retire if he does not win.
With Brie Bella by his side, Danielson could go on to have one of the most storied title runs in AEW history. It would be something that would be talked about for years to come, and who better than his wife to help him achieve that goal?
A proper retirement tour
Bryan Danielson is nearing the end of his career, and someone in WWE announced his retirement a few weeks back: John Cena. WWE is planning an elaborate retirement tour for the leader of the Cenation, and deservedly so.
If Bryan wins the title at All In and continues as champion, then he could also be afforded a proper farewell that can mirror what WWE will be doing with John Cena. And given the fact that Tony Khan is one of his very good friends, he can expect a great last few months in the company as a full-time wrestler.
