An AEW star is reportedly ready to return to action after a long absence. The star is none other than Bandido who could get involved in the ongoing Jon Moxley storyline in the Jacksonville-based promotion.
Jon Moxley returned to AEW last month and has slowly evolved into the biggest heel in the promotion after turning on his best friend Bryan Danielson and taking over the Blackpool Combat Club. The Death Rider defeated The American Dragon at WrestleDream to win the AEW World Championship and seemingly retired Bryan Danielson from full-time in-ring competition.
The Blackpool Combat Club has been targeting many stars like Darby Allin, Orange Cassidy, and Chuck Taylor and it's only a matter of time before the babyfaces fight back. However, a strong lineup would be required against the likes of Jon Moxley, PAC, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta. The promotion could bring Bandido into the mix who has been reportedly healed from his injuries and was present backstage on the recent episode of Dynamite.

Bully Ray praises Jon Moxley's AEW booking
On the recent edition of Dynamite, the locker room waited for the arrival of Blackpool Combat Club. The faction has been targeting the locker room and launching brutal attacks on many stars.
Speaking on the Busted Open podcast, Bully Ray praised the promotion for how they booked the Blackpool Combat Club's angle this week. The veteran said that it kept the fans hooked on the story till the end of the show:
"I did like AEW's attempt at threading the story throughout the night," Bully said. "Moxley's gonna show up with his crew, and we are going to be waiting for them. ... Whether or not you like the meat and potatoes of the story is one thing, but they are attempting to thread a story, to keep you on the channel. This is very much like Vince Russo's attempt to book the WWE back in the day."
Jon Moxley has been targeting Orange Cassidy and his crew for the past few weeks. It will be interesting to see how the Freshly Squeezed star fights back against the Blackpool Combat Club.
