The Pinnacle interrupted the celebration of The Inner Circle on this week's episode of AEW Dynamite. MJF appeared on the screen and showed Chris Jericho and the other members of his team Dean Malenko, who had seemingly been incapacitated, at his feet.
The Inner Circle had previously celebrated its greatest moments on AEW Dynamite, and the mood was emotional while the members readied themselves for their match at Double or Nothing. But seeing the wrestling legend treated in such a violent manner convinced them to rush to the arena where they will have their Stadium Stampede Match in two days.
Before they could rescue Malenko, Jericho and his allies were separated and ambushed by members of The Pinnacle. MJF's faction looked to take them apart and destroy them, as FTR hit Santana and Ortiz with nasty piledrivers through a pair of tables.
The Pinnacle stood tall to end AEW Dynamite, and it might be the last time that The Inner Circle is seen together on an episode of the weekly show. At this point, it seems like MJF's group is the stable to beat in AEW.
