#4 AEW has seen success with similar characters
AEW presents a wide array of characters on its respective television shows every single week.
These characters range from the incredibly serious demenours of CM Punk and Bryan Danielson to almost comedic characters such as Orange Cassidy.

What's consistent is that AEW has been able to book characters such as Cassidy in comedy segments whilst increasing his popularity. This has led to Orange competing for the AEW World Championship at pay-per-views such as Double or Nothing.
Considering AEW's track record with similar characters, Danhausen would be secure in knowing that AEW would be effectively able to book his character and replicate this success.
#3 AEW's history with cinematic and comedy matches
In addition to booking less serious characters, AEW also has an impressive track record of producing cinematic and comedy matches.
This year alone has seen AEW produce several spectacular cinematic matches at major pay-per-view events.
Sting and Darby Allin defeated Team Taz in a cinematic Street Fight at AEW Revolution in March. The Inner Circle defeated The Pinnacle in the Cinematic Stadium Stampede match at Double or Nothing in May.
Due to the cinematic nature of these bouts, several comedy spots and cameos were used.
Given Danhausen's comedic character, he would fit perfectly into AEW's ability to produce cinematic and comedic matches.
