#3. Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio are good friends

Like Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho has been wrestling for a very long time now. His work in countless different promotions has allowed him to make good friends.

Mysterio is close to the former AEW World Champion. Jericho and Rey have been photographed together several times and have always spoken highly about each other during interviews.

In a recent ESPN interview, Dominik and Rey Mysterio spoke about various things, including how Chris Jericho suggested Dominik train under Lance Storm.

"After three months with [Jay] Lethal, Dominik was off to his next stop. Thanks to a recommendation from Rey's close friend Chris Jericho, Dominik left the United States to train with former WWE wrestler and acclaimed trainer Lance Storm in Calgary, Alberta."

Cody Rhodes also pointed out that the WWE legend was good friends with some AEW stars.

“To me, the greatest luchador ever, of all time — hands down — is Rey Mysterio Jr. And he’s got friends here," Cody said. "Jericho and him are friends. Mysterio is not afraid to travel out there, either. He’s not a one-company individual. And I think Rey still has a lot left to give in terms of wrestling.”

Chris Jericho could pull Rey Mysterio into AEW for a short stint before he hangs up his boots. Dominik Mysterio could retire Rey soon, and fans just could end up seeing the luchador on AEW.
