The former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, could end up reforming The Shield after the reunion with a former WWE Champion. The star is currently the face of a major promotion.
The ex-WWE Champion in question is the current AEW World Champion, Jon Moxley (fka Dean Ambrose). Moxley left the Stamford-based promotion back in 2019 after one last reunion with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins of The Shield. The former Dean Ambrose has been one of the top faces of All Elite Wrestling since joining the promotion.
Jon Moxley is currently involved in one of the most important storylines in AEW, which is the Death Riders taking over the company. Nevertheless, the possibility of Moxley making his return to the WWE to reunite with his Shield brethren, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, could not be eliminated, as anything could happen in pro wrestling.
While Roman and Rollins joining AEW is highly unlikely, Moxley could return to the Stamford-based promotion for one last run. Reigns is currently involved in The Bloodline Civil War storyline, but when that is over, he might look for his brothers.
Jon Moxley has always considered Roman as his brother during his time in WWE and in real life as well. While Moxley's current contract situation with AEW remains unknown, he could make his long-awaited return to the Stamford-based promotion right before Reigns retired from wrestling and reformed The Shield with Seth Rollins.
