AEW may never bring a major female star back to the promotion according to recent reports. The name is none other than Kamille who signed with the company earlier this year.
A couple of weeks ago, Kamille quit her job as Mercedes Mone's bodyguard and many believed that the move was done to start building up the former NWA Women's World Champion. She has been absent from All Elite Wrestling television since.
In a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez revealed that Kamille might not ever actually show up in the future in All Elite Wrestling.
"I don't know if we'll ever see her again in AEW. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't." - WOR
Kamille reacts to being written off AEW TV
The former NWA star has been built relatively strongly since appearing in All Elite Wrestling. However, her booking took a huge turn which stopped all her momentum.
Kamille is also considered to be one of the best wrestlers in the independent scene, however, she has yet to showcase her full talent in the Jacksonville-based promotion.
In a recent chat on Covalent TV, Kamille claimed that the fans still haven't seen her true potential in All Elite Wrestling. She also noted how during her angle with Mercedes Mone, the opportunity to talk or show some personality wasn't presented her.
“I still feel like the AEW world hasn’t even seen a glimmer of what I have to offer. Even being able to talk and show some personality, I’m really excited for AEW fans to get to know me a little better. It’s about introducing that side of me to the fans. If someone says, ‘Oh, there’s no personality,’ I mean, to be honest, I’d agree with them up to this point because I haven’t really gotten the chance to show it. So, I’m just really excited for everyone to see that I’m more than just standing there making faces.” [H/T Ringside News]
We will have to wait and see if and when All Elite Wrestling decides to bring Kamille back to television.
