A recent report revealed that AEW was forced to change multiple things after a serious injury occurred during Collision last week. A female star suffered the injury during her match on Saturday.

On Collision last Saturday, Skye Blue was set to square off with the former AEW women's world champion, Hikaru Shida. During the bout, Shida jumped on Skye at the ringside with a crossbody and the match had to be stopped. The referee and the medical team checked on Blue and the match was called off, as she had sustained an injury.

Later, the AEW President, Tony Khan issued a statement revealing that Skye suffered an ankle injury during her match and as a result, Hikaru Shida was declared the winner. Meanwhile, there are more details regarding the backstage reaction to the injury.

According to the latest report from Fightful Select, the initial hope within the company was that Skye Blue would be okay after sustaining the injury. Furthermore, it was reported that a couple of adjustments were made on the show last Saturday after Skye's injury. However, it is unclear what the specific changes were.
