An AEW star recently made his return, and it looked like he was set for a major feud. However, according to Fightful Select, the company has reportedly canceled plans for the feud.

Danhausen has been one of the most entertaining acts in professional wrestling for quite some time. His humorous antics have helped him get over with the fans. After wrestling in the indies for several years, Danhausen made his AEW debut in 2022 and quickly aligned himself with Best Friends.

Despite a successful run in the Jacksonville-based promotion, the face-painted star hasn't competed in an AEW ring since Worlds End 2023. There were teases of his return last year but those were scrapped. After being out of action for a year, Danhausen finally made his comeback at ROH Final Battle and attacked Mason Madden. It was later reported that the talent backstage was glad to see him back again.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select was asked during his latest Q&A session whether the company had given up on Danhausen since it was thought that he would feud with MxM. Sean replied he'd thought the same, but Danhausen's return to ROH was spur-of-the-moment and didn't have a lot of planning. Sapp also reported that he'd got the call a day before his return at Final Battle.

Danhausen had a question for AEW star Mercedes Mone after his surprise return

Mercedes Mone is on top of the women's division in AEW. She holds three titles and has looked unstoppable since her debut in the Jacksonville-based promotion. Hence, this makes her a sought-after commodity in the wrestling business. As a result, many stars want to get the attention of the CEO, including Danhausen.

Following his return, Danhausen took to social media to ask how much money Mercedes Mone had. He also questioned if she had enough to purchase a blimp.

"How many money does Money Monet have? Blimp money?" he wrote.

It looks like Danhausen was up to his humorous antics as soon as he made his return at Final Battle.
