An update regarding the status of one of AEW's latest signings has come to light ahead of tonight's Forbidden Door pay-per-view. It was reported that there have already been some creative plans in the works for Kamille.

Four months ago, reports revealed that The Brickhouse had signed with All Elite Wrestling despite heavy interest from WWE. However, she has yet to make an appearance or be teased for any appearances with the promotion since signing.

Fightful Select reported earlier tonight that some unannounced signings have yet to make an appearance in AEW or ROH in any capacity. However, Kamille is not one of them, despite being with the company for a while now. It was also reported that there have already been talks regarding her booking, but it remains to be seen to what extent these have gone.

Kamille has seemingly expressed frustration with her AEW debut being delayed

Earlier this month, the former NWA Women's Champion addressed her AEW status in a now-deleted tweet when she responded to a fan regarding the timeline for her debut.

One fan joked about potentially waiting for more than two years just to see Kamille make her debut. The Brickhouse responded by saying that at this point, it seemed like it was a possibility.

This week's report is a step in the right direction for Kamille fans, but they'll have to continue to stay tuned for more developments.

It is currently Forbidden Door season, and the likes of Mariah May, Saraya, Toni Storm, and Mercedes Moné are all set to compete at the pay-per-view. There is also the ongoing Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, and it seems that fans will just have to wait a bit longer to see where Kamille will fit in amidst the chaos.

With stars like Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter, who have been out for a long time, possibly nearing their potential returns, the women's division will be stacked heading into the second half of the year.
