The year 2025 could amp up the free agency market as several WWE Superstars' contracts near expiration. Chief among them is former Universal Champion, Kevin Owens.

The Prizefighter's contract has entered its final year, as confirmed by him, and his deal will be up in early 2025. The 40-year-old superstar hasn't signed a new contract yet, leaving some fans wondering whether he's All Elite Wrestling bound.

According to Fightful Select, AEW has had a long-term interest in signing Kevin Owens for some time now. Some people within the company believe Tony Khan is expected to make the Canadian wrestler an offer, if and when, he ever decides to leave the Stamford-based promotion.

Earlier this year, Becky Lynch let her contract expire but has since remained a free agent. Meanwhile, Ricochet became the most recent superstar from WWE to jump ship to AEW.

Will Kevin Owens follow in the footsteps of The One And Only? It wouldn't be far-fetched to think that considering his relationship with Adam Cole and The Young Bucks from their days in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla.

With the impending AEW-WBD TV deal, the current SmackDown superstar could receive a lucrative offer to make the switch upon his free agency.
