The October 2, 2024, edition of AEW Dynamite aired a backstage segment featuring MVP and Prince Nana. The segment also witnessed the debut of former WWE Superstar Shelton Benjamin as The Franchise Playa's new business associate.
Shortly afterwards, Fightful Select reported that The Gold Standard has also inked a deal with the Jacksonville-based company, as has his stablemate, former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, whose debut is supposedly "impending."
The update claims that all three stars—MVP, Benjamin, and The All Mighty—had finalized their deals several weeks prior. The Ballin' Superstar, who had debuted at Dynamite: Grand Slam 2024, was set to manage his Hurt Business allies.
