Popular star Komander is receiving positive backstage reactions in AEW. The Mexican pro wrestler has been part of the Jacksonville-based promotion since 2023.
The 25-year-old luchador made his All Elite Wrestling debut on the March 1, 2023, episode of Dynamite. He officially became a member of the Tony Khan-led organization's roster in April of the same year.
Komander is one of the participants in the 2024 Continental Classic as part of the Gold League. He wrestled two matches on Rampage and Collision last week, and unfortunately, he lost on both occasions. Moreover, he experienced several defeats before those bouts.
Despite suffering multiple losses, the masked star's recent run is seemingly garnering good reviews in general. Fightful Select recently reported that AEW was impressed with his performance inside the ring, especially in the Continental Classic.

Darby Allin takes a nasty bump during his match against Komander on AEW Collision
As mentioned above, Darby Allin and Komander faced off on Collision last week in a Continental Classic Gold League match. During the bout, the face-painted star took a nasty bump while trying to execute a topé suicida on his opponent.
Allin was aiming to land on Komander, but the latter got out of the way, causing the former TNT Champion to crash on the chair. Despite the rough landing, Allin managed to pull off a big victory in the match.
With the win on Saturday, Darby Allin earned three points in the Gold League of the Continental Classic Tournament. Allin was defeated in his first tournament match, which was surprising to many fans. He faced House of Black member Brody King.
