A recent report has shed light on Bobby Lashley's WWE status amid contract expiry rumors and if fans could see him join AEW. It was noted that there have been discussions regarding The All Mighty backstage in All Elite Wrestling.
The former WWE Champion has been heavily rumored to leave the Stamford-based promotion over the last few weeks. Since then, there has been rampant speculation about his future and the possibility of him joining some other promotion following his exit. Alongside him, his former Hurt Business stablemate, MVP, is also expected to depart WWE, following months of absence from TV programming.
Now, Fightful Select has shared a major update on what lies ahead for Lashley. It was noted that his contract would be expiring imminently by the end of this week. It was also mentioned that though no offer was made yet, Bobby Lashley was discussed backstage in AEW. Furthermore, those close to the veteran believe he could make one appearance in All Elite Wrestling at least.
There's no doubt The All Mighty would be a great addition to Tony Khan's promotion if they were to bring him in. Though the roster is bloated, a performer of Bobby Lashley's caliber wouldn't have difficulty in carving a space for himself in the Jacksonville-based promotion.
