Big WWE reason stopping Samantha Irvin from a potential AEW debut - Reports

The latest report revealed the major reason why Ricochet's fiancee, Samantha Irvin can't appear on AEW after her WWE exit. Fans have been hoping to see Irvin on All Elite Wrestling for quite some time.

After winning many fans' hearts with her exceptional skills as a ring announcer, Samantha Irvin suddenly announced her departure from the WWE with a heartfelt message on social media. Samantha has been busy with other endeavors since her exit but fans have still not lost hope about seeing her again as a ring announcer.

Fans have been hoping to see Samantha Irvin on AEW as her fiancee, Ricochet has also jumped ship to the Jacksonville-based promotion earlier this year. Meanwhile, the latest report provided an update on the possibility of Samantha joining All Elite Wrestling after her WWE exit in October 2024.

It is being reported by PWInsider that Samantha Irvin was backstage for this past week's Dynamite. As far as the update goes, Samantha is reportedly not cleared to appear on any combat sports program as she is still under a no-compete from the WWE.

AEW star on Samantha Irvin possibly becoming ring announcer for him

The AEW star Ricochet was asked whether he would like Samantha Irvin to announce his name in Tony Khan's promotion. Speaking on The Wrestling Classic, Ricochet said he doesn't want Samantha to be a ring announcer but an onscreen character:

"Probably not. I would say no... I wouldn't even want her to do that. Any type of announcing, whether it's boxing, UFC, NFL, or baseball, she doesn't want to announce the people's names. I think she just doesn't want to be a ring announcer at all. she still would love to be a character, be in a story, she would love to be... you know, make the fans feel emotions, and make them go through the roller-coaster of emotions that she would like."

Henceforth, fans will have to wait and see if Samantha ever decides to join All Elite Wrestling.
