According to a journalist, former AEW Women's World Champion Britt Baker might never face a major star in the company due to their personal problems. The star is none other than Jamie Hayter.
The 29-year-old dropped the AEW Women's World Title to Toni Storm at Double or Nothing 2023 and has been inactive since then due to injury-related issues. However, according to Fightful Select, Jamie Hayter was present backstage during an episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite in July 2024. The report further claimed there were discussions backstage about the possibility of her return this year.
In a recent Q&A session, Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp claimed that Jamie Hayter might never lock horns with Dr. Britt Baker in the future due to personal issues between the female stars. Notably, The D.M.D. was recently suspended following an alleged backstage altercation with Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF).
"I don't know if there will be any integration with Britt Baker. I feel like that ship has sailed interpersonally for those two," he said.

AEW star Deonna Purrazzo shares her honest thoughts on the alleged altercation between Britt Baker and MJF
The D.M.D. and The Salt of The Earth reportedly had a verbal altercation during the 250th episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite this past July. According to reports, Baker passed some comments against MJF in the female locker room.
The comments were communicated to the AEW American Champion by his girlfriend, Alicia Atout. This led to a heated face-off between MJF and The Doctor, eventually paving the way for Baker to be suspended.
Meanwhile, in a recent chat with Stephanie Chase, Deonna Purrazzo claimed that the reported verbal altercation ''took a life of its own,'' thanks to the rumor mills.
The AEW star also stated that this was an ''isolated incident,'' and the locker room had a ''lot of camaraderie.
"I think this was just one instance that sparked a lot of drama and also kind of took on a life of its own. The rumor mill starts going, and things aren't as they were. People add their two cents, and it makes it way bigger than it was. I think this was an isolated incident because everything else that I've experienced in this locker room is supportive and encouraging, and there's a lot of camaraderie," she said. [H/T: Fightful]
Meanwhile, Britt Baker is set to challenge Mercedes Mone for the AEW TBS Championship at the upcoming All In pay-per-view. It will be interesting to see if The D.M.D. dethrones The CEO at Wembley Stadium later this month.
