AEW star Skye Blue has been out of action for the past several months. Some recent reports have provided an update on her current status.
On the July 20th edition of AEW Collision, Skye Blue suffered an ankle injury during her match against Hikaru Shida. Blue attempted a dive outside on Shida where the star landed awkwardly on her leg. Skye Blue had surgery on her ankle in the same month.
In a recent report by Fightful Select, it was revealed that Skye Blue has been able to move around and has been attending signings. However, she still has a long recovery road ahead of her before making an in-ring return.

It will be interesting to see how All Elite Wrestling brings back Skye Blue after she's fully recovered from her injuries.
AEW star Skye Blue reflects on how she learns new things from others in the business
In a recent chat with Kicking Out, Skye Blue spoke about how she learns from her co-workers in wrestling. The 25-year-old has still a long way to go in the squared circle and many believe that she can be a Champion in All Elite Wrestling. Skye was seemingly being booked strong in AEW before suffering her recent injury.
"So, I just, like, feel super comfortable being able to try things and, like, get feedback, and learn, and keep growing. I feel like every time you're with somebody different, whether you're with somebody new in the ring or you just work with different people who are trained differently, you learn how each person... because there are so many ways to do what we do, and it's very cool to take from every little bit that you can," Blue said. Skye Blue is a promising young talent in the All Elite women's division. The fans will have to wait and see if the promotion puts some gold on her after she gets cleared to return to action.
