A female AEW star is still under contract with the company after being absent for more than two years. The star being discussed is Rebel. Throughout her career, she captured the OVW Women's title, RCW Women's title, and Tried-N-True Women's Championship.
The 46-year-old star has been All Elite since 2019. However, she wasn't hired as a pro wrestler. She was the hair stylist for the company's women's roster. Initially, she made her appearance as Britt Baker's personal makeup artist.
Later, Britt Baker and Rebel were accompanied by Jamie Hayter and the trio were part of numerous entertaining contests. In June 2021, Rebel injured her knee and was out of action. She made her return to the Jacksonville-based promotion in 2022 and wrestled on the company's YouTube show, DARK.
Rebel's last Dynamite contest in the promotion took place in November 2021 and her latest match in the company happened in August 2022. Despite her long inactivity, Sean Ross Sapp reported on the latest Fightful Select Weekly Podcast that she is still under contract. However, Sapp notes that she is "rarely there."

AEW star Rebel shares her experience working with Britt Baker
The 46-year-old star shared the screen with former AEW Women's World Champion Britt Baker during much of her run with the company. Later, Jamie Hayter joined the duo.
While speaking on AEW Unrestricted, Rebel revealed that she enjoyed her time with Britt Baker.
"The best part is like, just having so much fun with her. I think I'm this way like I think I would much rather tag with someone or be out there with my friends, because you can react with your friends, and you can talk with them. It's just so much more fun, instead of being out there by yourself," she said.
It will be interesting to see if she makes another appearance in the Tony Khan-led promotion.
