As per a recent report, a former WWE Champion could be leaving AEW after his contract expires this week. The name is none other than the legendary Jeff Hardy, whose future has been a point of speculation over the last few weeks.

Jeff is currently out with an injury he sustained a few months back during a match with Sammy Guevara. Amid this, his brother, Matt Hardy, left All Elite Wrestling in early April and eventually went on to return to TNA Wrestling.

Now, Fightful Select reports that Jeff Hardy could be on his way out of the company. It was also noted that AEW wasn't adding an injury or sabbatical time to the WWE legend's contract.

Furthermore, it was also revealed that TNA was interested in acquiring Jeff Hardy's services as he's had a storied career in the company. While it remains to be seen how things go down, a reunion with Matt in TNA would surely get the fans talking. Apart from that, a potential WWE return could also garner immense buzz.

Considering Jeff is nearing the end of his in-ring career, he could possibly head to the Stamford-based promotion to put an end to his legendary career.
