A former WWE champion could be gearing up to make his AEW debut in the upcoming weeks according to recent reports. The star in question is none other than Ricochet.
The One and Only was written off television courtesy of a brutal attack by Bron Breakker in June. He became a free agent in early July after he chose not to renew his deal with the Triple H-led WWE. In the past few weeks, Ricochet's AEW arrival has been heavily teased by many stars like Will Ospreay and even All Elite CEO Tony Khan.
According to a recent report by Wrestling Observer Radio, it was revealed that Ricochet could debut in All Elite Wrestling at All In, however, the possibility of his arrival before the PPV was also explored.
"I don’t know when he’s coming in. Maybe it’s Wembley. I believe Ricochet’s contract expired in July, so he’s free. He could debut any week now, but we haven’t heard his name mentioned.” [H/T: Ringside News]

AEW CEO Tony Khan is a huge fan of Ricochet
Ricochet looks to steal the show during his matches and he has been doing just that for the past couple of years in the WWE. He recently left the company and could potentially be the next big signing of All Elite Wrestling.
In a recent interview on Comicbook.com, AEW President Tony Khan heaped praise on Ricochet and stated that he's a huge fan of the highflyer. Khan also noted how Ricochet has a huge history in NJPW and has wrestled some of the AEW talent before.
"I'm a huge fan of Ricochet. I think he's a great, great wrestler," Khan said. "He's been involved in matches against some of the top stars in AEW. He also has a great history in New Japan Pro Wrestling, as he's been a champion there and a top star. We have great collaboration there and I love the history of New Japan and I think he's a big part of it. During a great era when a lot of our top stars were wrestling there, he was a big part of it. I have a lot of admiration and respect for Ricochet and think he's one of the top athletes and one of the most exciting stars in all of wrestling."
Ricochet has not competed ever since his last WWE match in June. It will be interesting to see if he shows up in Wembley Stadium at All In.
