AEW is reportedly in talks with Fox. New details have come to light regarding these talks.

All Elite Wrestling has come a long way since its inception back in 2019. The company has not only grown its roster size but has also increased the number of its weekly shows. Currently, the promotion has three shows - Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision. However, it looks like that's not the end of its expansion.

Recently, rumors started doing the rounds that All Elite Wrestling is in talks with Fox regarding a new show called "AEW Shockwave." The company has even filed a trademark for the name. However, not many details have been revealed on the subject. Recently, Swerve Strickland seemingly confirmed these rumors when he was caught on video on QueenzFlip's YouTube channel telling a friend that All Elite Wrestling is moving to Fox.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is now reporting that All Elite Wrestling and Fox are in talks about a new wrestling show that will air on Tuesday or Thursday. It is also reported that the show won't run on Monday or Friday to avoid clashing with RAW or SmackDown.

Swerve Strickland regrets his comment about AEW

Swerve Strickland confirming a new show on Fox indicates that the rumors are true. However, the former AEW World Champion has since regretted opening his mouth.

According to recent reports by Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp, Swerve didn't mean to leak the information about the company's deal with Fox. It was also reported that he wishes he could take back his comment from earlier.

"He wishes he could take it back. That was not intentionally leaked. I'm told that he did not know that a phone was in the vicinity and you could tell. I would say maybe more ominously filmed. I'm not saying like from a sneaky perspective or anything like that. It's just he was a little oblivious to a phone being there. He was talking with a friend." [28:47-29:14]

It's a little too late for Swerve Strickland to take back his comment, as the entire wrestling community is talking about it.
