Eric Bischoff believes AEW star Dustin Rhodes could create some great stories with Cody Rhodes in WWE
With the rumors of Dustin Rhodes' All Elite Wrestling contract expiring soon, there have been a lot of rumblings about the veteran's possible return to WWE. In a recent edition of his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff questioned how Dustin Rhodes could change up his character in All Elite Wrestling after spending five years with the promotion.
The WWE Hall of Famer claimed that Cody Rhodes and Dustin Rhodes can create great storylines with each other in the Stamford-based promotion. He also hinted at a possible heel turn between the two brothers which could make for a compelling story.
"There's a tremendous amount of story that could be told in WWE," Bischoff said. "Because what is Dustin gonna do in AEW? He's been there for five years. What more is he going to do with his character? But in WWE, you could write a book, you could write a novel with the stories you could create with Dustin and Cody. Everything from Dustin being there for Cody and supporting Cody... Or you could go the other way. It could be jealousy and envy. All those things that make great movies and great stories."
Cody Rhodes has stated in the past that he would like to see his brother join him in WWE. It will be interesting to see if Dustin departs the Jacksonville-based promotion in the future.
