AEW Dynamite Big Business was the show where Wardlow had a televised match. He has been absent from television since. Some recent reports have revealed his status in the Tony Khan-led promotion.

Wardlow has been out of action since losing an AEW World Title match against Samoa Joe at Big Business Dynamite in March. Mr. Mayhem has been a part of Undisputed Kingdom alongside Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Roderick Strong, and Adam Cole. However, the group still lacks creative direction.

In a recent report by PWInsider, it was revealed that the former TNT Champion Wardlow was backstage on this week's Fright Night Dynamite, However, it is currently unknown when he'll return to action.

Veteran wrestling journalist Bill Apter wants AEW legend Jeff Jarrett to manage Wardlow

Undisputed Kingdom's Wardlow is one of the most talented big men in All Elite Wrestling. He is a former TNT Champion and many believed that Wardlow would be a World Champion in the promotion after breaking away from MJF. However, Mr. Mayhem has suffered from some questionable booking decisions.

In an episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's SmackTalk, Senior Editor Bill Apter said Jeff Jarrett could be the perfect guy to manage Wardlow in All Elite Wrestling. He said that Double J could get massive heat on Wardlow.

"I've said this on so many shows and in our newsletter as well. What the hell did they do with Wardlow? This guy could've been Batista part two. You know what the WWE would've done with this guy? The main issue with Wardlow in WWE—I was talking with another wrestler about this the other night—is his voice didn't match his body. So what I would've done—the logical guy to be his manager would've been Jeff Jarrett. Can you imagine the heat of Jeff Jarrett being Wardlow's manager?"

It will be interesting to see when the promotion decides to bring back Wardlow on television.
