Shane McMahon has been the talk of the town lately due to the rumors of his AEW move. However, recent reports might put the rumor to rest.
The rumors of Shane O'Mac's AEW arrival have been spreading heavily on social media since last week. WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross was one of the prominent stars to talk about the topic of Shane possibly joining All Elite Wrestling. Ross' Grilling JR podcast's co-host Conrad Thompson also spoke on the situation and claimed that McMahon had reached out to several AEW stars about joining the promotion.
According to a recent report by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Shane McMahon did speak to an ex-WWE star in All Elite Wrestling however, the conversation was not about joining the promotion.

Jim Ross believes Shane McMahon could work in AEW
Shane McMahon's last WWE appearance was at WrestleMania 39 where he tore his quad at the beginning of his match against The Miz. The veteran has since recovered however, we have not seen Shane for over a year.
Speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross spoke about the possibility of Shane McMahon joining the Jacksonville-based promotion. JR explained how McMahon and Tony Khan working together could be great but noted that the decision is up to The Prodigal Son.
"Yeah, it would. It’s so crazy that it might work, depending on how it was positioned and how it was introduced. Shane called me the other day, he’s called me two or three times, which I really appreciate. He’s always been sensitive in that respect. That’s only a question that Shane could answer. Shane and Tony Khan being together, how would that work creatively, heck, who knows? Might be great. But in any event, that all depends on Shane and what he wants to do." [H/T:Fightful]
It will be interesting to see if Shane McMahon responds to the rumors of his AEW arrival in the future. WWE might also give an interesting reaction if McMahon decides to ink a deal with the rival promotion.
