A huge update was provided on Bryan Danielson's status ahead of his blockbuster match at All In against Swerve Strickland. He will challenge the AEW World Champion in pursuit of his first title in AEW.

The American Dragon won the Owen Hart Cup a few weeks ago after defeating "Hangman" Adam Page in the final of the tournament. He is now slated to face Swerve Strickland in the main event of this year's All In for the AEW World Championship. For many months, his neck has reportedly been a huge issue for him.

Bryan Danielson has clearly stated that 2024 will be his last year as a full-time wrestler after his current contract expires. A few months ago, he claimed that winning the Owen Hart Cup might be the last chance he ever gets an opportunity to win the AEW World Championship. In a recent interview with Renee Paquette, the 43-year-old star revealed his contract expires on August 1, 2024.

In the same interview, The American Dragon revealed that he isn't allowed to wrestle by AEW doctor Sampson until All In. As per Fightful, Danielson being advised not to wrestle until All In wasn't a work as he hasn't been 100% and was also fatigued. The report also suggested that many plans have been altered in the story due to his health condition.

Jeff Jarrett advises Bryan Danielson to go 'all in'

Jeff Jarrett failed to capture the Owen Hart Cup after he lost to Hangman Page. However, Bryan Danielson defeated the latter in the final of the tournament.

Double J recently interupted The American Dragon's interview and urged the latter to get fit on both physical and mental aspects ahead of his big match.

“You’ve got Wembley in the crosshairs, and you are gonna be facing a champion who knows exactly what he needs to do, dialed in and focused on that championship. Now I understand you gotta heal up physically but I think you have a lot of mental healing you have to get done. You sit on the fence. It sounds like you got one foot out of the door, or maybe even making an excuse. Bryan, if you’re gonna go all in, freaking go all in,” Jarrett said.

It will be interesting to see if Bryan's health plays a role in his match for the world title at All In.
