A major AEW star last seen five months ago is still with the company. This name is one of the most popular in the company and is a fan favorite.
The star in question is none other than Danhausen. He has been absent for a while now, with his last match at the Worlds End event on December 30, 2023, where he participated in a battle royal for the TNT Championship.
Fans wondered if he was still with the company amid his lengthy absence. PWInsider has allayed those fears and said that while he has not been seen in a wrestling capacity since last year, he is still under contract.
"Danhausen is still with AEW but hasn't been utilized on TV for whatever reason," reported PWInsider.

Danhausen seemingly posts frustrating message after not being utilized in AEW
Danhausen portrays a very interesting character in AEW. He is often comedic and keeps the fans on the edge of their seats.
It is not common for him to lose his cool, but recently, it seemed like he did. On Instagram, he posted a picture of himself with the caption:
"I answer to none. I belong nowhere. I believe in nothing except myself."
That message could be seen in one of two ways. It could be him in his character playing out his gimmick. It could also be seen as a shot at the company and the creative for not being able to utilize him to his full strength.
All in all, it is a very unfortunate situation for him and Tony Khan to not be able to use him.
