Latest reports regarding Bryan Danielson following his full-time retirement after his AEW World Title loss at WrestleDream have now come to the fore. The report provided a lot of backstage details.
Bryan Danielson shockingly lost his AEW World Title to Jon Moxley at WrestleDream 2024. As Danielson stated for months, his losing the world title will mean that his full-time career in AEW is also over. The star had previously wanted to go out on a high, and the loss to Moxley at WrestleDream could mean that he accomplished what he wanted to do in AEW.
A new report from Fightful Select states that Danielson's full-time career is effectively over. The report also stated that Bryan wanted to lose to Moxley to end his title run.
The report further revealed that the AEW doctors allowed Danielson to compete in regular matches but didn't allow him to compete in the Blood and Guts match earlier this year. Bryan reportedly regretted having a couple of matches leading to the WrestleDream pay-per-view as well.
