Killswitch is one of All Elite Wrestling's biggest stars. He is a former AEW TNT Champion, a former AEW World Tag Team Champion, and a former AEW World Trios Champion.
Killswitch is currently a member of The Patriarchy, a faction that also consists of Kip Sabian, Nick Wayne, Mother Wayne, and the leader, Christian Cage. The 39-year-old's time in this group has been quite fruitful. He has been a part of captivating storylines and dramatic rivalries. However, earlier this year in September, he was diagnosed with double pneumonia. His condition was so serious that he could have died.
But according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Bryan Alvarez, his health has drastically improved. He is reportedly working hard for his return and credits Tony Khan and the AEW medical staff for saving his life.
"He is doing much better. I am told he is working hard towards a comeback and credits Tony Khan and AEW medical staff for not only being patient with this, but but also telling him to stay home the week before he collapsed, which may have saved his life. It was very serious," read Alvarez's post.

Marko Stunt was thankful to Killswitch for standing up to him
When the world learned of Killswitch's health issue, he received countless messages of support and kindness. One of these messages was posted by his former stablemate Marko Stunt. Back in the day, 'Jungle Boy' Jack Perry, Killswitch, and Stunt were members of Jurassic Express.
In his post, the 28-year-old mentioned how the masked wrestler stood up for him several times. He was immensely thankful for his friend.
"Whatever @luchasaurus has going on in his head right now, idk. But I’ll never forget the times he stuck his neck out for me, both in and outside the ring. Genuinely cared for and protected me," wrote Stunt.
Marko Stunt retired from professional wrestling last month. In his last ever match, he was defeated by Jack Perry in an AEW TNT Title bout.
