AEW WrestleDream took place last night in Tacoma, Washington. However, several new details have come to light regarding the Pay-Per-View.

WrestleDream was one of the most highly anticipated All Elite Wrestling PPVs and it featured a stacked match card. One of the biggest bouts on the card was the AEW World Tag Team Championship match between The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) and The Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen).

These two teams have a lot of history dating back to the early days of All Elite Wrestling. It was Private Party who pulled off a shocking win over The Bucks on the very second episode of Dynamite. Since then, The EVPs went on to find a lot of success within the company while The Private Party is still in search of their first title win in AEW.

Last night at WrestleDream, Private Party had the chance to change their fortunes when they challenged The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. However, they fell short of winning the titles.

Fightful Select is now reporting that there were people in the company who pushed for Zay and Quen to win the titles at WrestleDream. However, that didn't happen. It is not known specifically who wanted the titles to change hands.

AEW officially acknowledged Bryan Danielson's retirement after WrestleDream

One of the biggest matches of the year took place at WrestleDream when Bryan Danielson defended his World Championship against Jon Moxley in a hard-fought battle. In the end, it was Moxley who came out on top thereby ending Bryan's full-time career.

Following the match, Wheeler Yuta also turned on Bryan and choked him out with a plastic bag. Several stars came out to help him but they were stopped by Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and PAC.

Following the conclusion of WrestleDream, All Elite Wrestling seemingly acknowledged Bryan's in-ring retirement and thanked him with a post.

"#ThankYouBryan," the post read.

It will be interesting to see if Bryan will continue to work in All Elite Wrestling going forward.
