The latest updates on Adam Copeland's recovery were recently discussed online. He hasn't been seen in the promotion for more than two months since his injury in a cage match.

The Rated-R Superstar made his way to AEW almost a year ago. However, he had a huge catalog of top-notch matches in a very short amount of time in the Jacksonville-based promotion. Despite being a veteran, he was ready to square off with stars almost every week. He even captured the TNT Championship which he had to vacate due to a leg injury.

Adam Copeland sustained the injury at the Double or Nothing Pay-Per-View in a Steel Cage match against Malakai Black. During the closing moments of the bout, the former TNT Champion attempted to jump on the House of Black member while he was lying on the table from the top of the cage. The former somehow landed a little vertically, which fractured his tibia.

The Master Manipulator hasn't been featured on AEW TV since then. Many fans are wondering when will he recover from the injury. Fightful Select has reported, during a Q&A session, that Adam Copeland's condition was "good" but the return date was still not clear and there was no firm date decided.

Gangrel discusses Adam Copeland's injury

Gangrel returned to the Jacksonville-based promotion to help his former stablemate from Brood against the House of Black.

While speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling, the 55-year-old star talked about the shocking injury sustained by Copeland while jumping off the cage. He also thanked the latter for making his return happen.

"It looked higher. Maybe that's what happened when he got up there, I don't know. I love him to death and I'm sorry it happened to him. I can't thank him enough for thinking of me and bringing the whole Brood thing full circle and coming out there and having that moment. Thank you and you know whatever it was 25 years later," he said.
