The former WWE Superstar, Miro, who is currently signed with All Elite Wrestling, has reportedly asked for his release from AEW. The report provides further information on this matter.

The former AEW TNT Champion, Miro (fka Rusev), has been on the All Elite roster since 2020, but his run has been marred by multiple long absences. The 38-year-old star appeared at the Worlds End 2023 Pay-Per-View, where he defeated Andrade El Idolo and is yet to make his return.

According to the latest report by Fightful Select, Miro has asked for his release from AEW amid months of absence. The report stated that the former WWE Superstar was healthy enough to return but has not been on the same page with the creative team to make his return in the year 2024.

The report also disclosed that after joining Tony Khan's promotion back in 2020, The Redeemer signed an extension in the year 2022, which could keep him with the promotion until the year 2026. It is still unclear whether the former TNT Champion has been granted his release yet. Only time will tell what the future has in store for him.
