Tony Khan has been negotiating a new crucial deal for AEW. However, according to recent reports, he is not satisfied with the offer.
When Tony Khan established All Elite Wrestling in 2019, he struck a five-year deal with Warner Bros. Discovery. The New York-based company has the media rights to the pro wrestling promotion's weekly programming. As the exclusive negotiation window nears its end, Khan has held meetings with WBD CEO David Zaslav and TNT Sports Head Luis Silberwasser regarding a new deal.
Matt Belloni of Puck recently shared some details about the discussions between the two parties. Zaslav and Silberwasser are seemingly interested in keeping five hours of weekly AEW programming on TNT and TBS. However, Belloni also reported that the AEW CEO was "disappointed" with WBD's current offer.

Tony Khan wants Bryan Danieslon to finish his career in AEW
Bryan Danielson made his AEW debut in September 2021. Since then, he has been a top star in the promotion. However, The American Dragon is seemingly looking to wrap up his full-time in-ring career soon.
In a recent interview with CBS Sports, Tony Khan said he would like to see Danielson end his pro wrestling career in AEW.
"I would like Bryan to stay, in a perfect world, forever here in whatever capacity he'd stay with us in. I'd hope that Bryan would finish his wrestling career here. I would do anything to make that happen. I want Bryan to stay with us wrestling as long as possible. I know that he's talked about an exit from full-time wrestling, which is what he's been doing this year whenever he's been healthy," Khan said.
Danielson's AEW contract is set to expire soon and he will be a free agent before this year's All In pay-per-view in London, England. It will be interesting to see whether The American Dragon will ink a new deal with the organization.
