Hangman Page recently burned down Swerve Strickland's recently purchased childhood home. New details are expected to be revealed soon as to why he wasn't arrested for this gruesome act.

Page and Strickland have been involved in one of the most heated rivalries in wrestling history over the past year. It got even more personal after Swerve invaded Hangman's home, which caused Page to go off the deep end. After returning from a brief hiatus, Page continued his feud with Strickland and even cost him the AEW World Championship at AEW All In. Hence, both of them were set to face each other in an unsanctioned lights-out steel cage match.

However, before this match took place, Page took their rivalry to a whole new level by burning down the childhood home that Swerve had purchased with the money he got from his new AEW contract. This segment raised a lot of eyebrows and made fans wonder how he managed to get away with arson.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select is now reporting that AEW will provide a storyline-based explanation as to why Hangman Page wasn't arrested for this gruesome act:

“We’re told that there are storyline reasons planned as to why Hangman isn’t in jail or has any charges, or anything like this.”

Swerve Strickland responded to the backlash he received for his match at AEW All Out

As expected, the steel cage match between Swerve Strickland and Hangman Page turned out to be as brutal as fans anticipated. Both men put each other through the wringer.

There were tables, staple guns, and even cinder blocks used in the match. However, the match turned controversial towards its closing stage when Page used a hypodermic needle on Swerve and then hit him with a violent unprotected chair shot. This garnered a lot of backlash for both men:

Swerve has since taken to social media to break his silence on the backlash his AEW All Out match received:

"(UN-SANC-TIONED) What did you expect? Go where others won't go," Swerve Strickland wrote with the photos below.

It remains to be seen if this brutal match will help Hangman Page and Swerve finally put this rivalry behind them.
