WWE has reportedly acquired two former champions from AEW and their main roster debuts are said to be imminent. This move was so discreet that no one anticipated it.
The two stars in question are none other than Pentagon Jr and Rey Fenix. The duo also known as the Lucha Bros signed up with AEW in 2019 and were a regular fixture for a long time. As a pair, they won the World Tag Team and World Trios Championships during their time in the promotion.
Rey Fenix did one better than Pentagon Jr and also lifted the AEW International Championship once. The duo had been missing from action recently and it has now been reported that they have signed multi-year deals with WWE.
As first reported on Wrestlevotes Radio, the two brothers have signed multi-year deals with WWE and were headed straight to the main roster. They had a great time in AEW but are expected to be pushed heavily in their new company.

The story was also later confirmed by Cory Hays of PWN Reports.
It will be interesting to see what plans the Stamford-based promotion has in store for the former AEW World Tag Team Champions and how they will endear themselves to the fans.
