Adam Cole has been out of action for a considerable amount of time, and there is another unfortunate update on his AEW return status. This will no doubt make his fans sad.
The former WWE star has been away from the ring after he injured his ankle last year. Since then, a lot has happened. From turning on MJF to making a brief comeback at Double or Nothing, Cole has been through a lot.
There were a lot of reports about his health, but there were some answers about him at the AEW All Out media scrum last night. Evil Uno said that Cole was in good spirits but also stressed that not much is known about his recovery.

Daddy Magic was also asked about Cole and said that he was present backstage during the event and that he was walking around and looking healthy. It will be interesting to see when he might make his return.
Tony Khan can't wait for Adam Cole’s return
Despite Adam Cole being out for a long time, AEW president Tony Khan has revealed that he can't wait for him to come back.
Cole, who is an acclaimed in-ring talent, has been undone by injuries several times. But it looks like his boss is not fazed by those injuries and is eagerly looking forward to his comeback. Khan appeared on Wrestling Observer Radio recently and said:
"I can't wait until Adam Cole can come back. I can't give you the exact time table, but he will be back. And I'm looking forward to it. It'll be great to have Cole back in the ring. He is recovering, and I can't wait to have him back."
It seems that the former NXT Champion still has Tony Khan’s confidence, and that only bodes well for his future as he looks to make his comeback.
