Among AEW's returns and debuts this year, Hologram has proven to be a sensation on Saturday Night Collision. The high-flying luchador wowed fans with his innovative offense before suddenly disappearing from television. A new report has shed some light on his current status.
Hologram's character and presentation is the brainchild of Tony Khan, who reportedly developed the idea years before. The man behind the mask was previously known as Aramis before making his AEW debut in July 2024. He last wrestled a Best Two out of Three Falls Match against The Beast Mortos at WrestleDream, which he won.
According to Fightful Select, the 25-year-old suffered an injury during his match at WrestleDream. While it was originally considered minor, it's now believed to be a serious ankle injury, which explains why Hologram hasn't been on television since October 12.

Fightful's report notes that the luchador was set to be a major part of AEW's new TV deal in Mexico. Unfortunately, it seems the company will have to make do without him for now.
Hologram believed he would only be out of action for two weeks
Hologram quickly became a fan favorite in AEW due to his unique wrestling style. Unfortunately, his momentum has been halted due to his injury, and it seems the situation is more serious than initially expected.
The 25-year-old was scheduled to wrestle against The Beast Mortos once again on October 27, this time for GALLI Lucha Libre. However, he was forced to pull out of the match after consulting a doctor about his injury, and he sent out an apology to fans in a video on Facebook shortly after:
"I would be with you all if it were up to me, but that is not the case per advice from the medics, so I will have to postpone that match against The Beast Mortos. The slightly good news is that I won’t be out for that long; just about two weeks. I will try to heal up as soon as I can so I can bring a great spectacle for all of you and be a worthy champion. A hug from The Musketeer of The Air."
It seems that the masked star was expecting to be out of action for only a couple of weeks. Since it's been almost two months since his last match, fans may have to wait a little longer to see the high-flying luchador back in the ring.
