AEW and WWE stars often get hurt while competing inside the ring. However, in recent months, All Elite Wrestling has been hit by the injury bug, forcing several talents to remain on the sidelines.
Many of AEW's top attractions are currently out of action due to injury, and this has certainly affected the company. Adam Cole, Jamie Hayter, Eddie Kingston, and Adam Copeland are all recuperating from different injuries. Mike Johnson of PWInsider recently reported that WWE wrestlers were seemingly unsurprised by this occurrence.
According to Johnson, employees of the Triple H-run company believed All Elite Wrestling stars were prone to injuries because they did not wrestle consistently. Talents in the Tony Khan-led promotion usually compete once or twice a week, besides their independent dates. Meanwhile, WWE Superstars participate in multiple bouts throughout the week on TV shows and live events.
"I don't know if there is anything scientific to this but there have been WWE talents who have told me they are not surprised at the high injury rate that sometimes happens at All Elite Wrestling because those talents are not consistently wrestling all the time in comparison to a WWE talent. They are wrestling on Wednesday and then maybe they're wrestling on a Saturday, and unless they're choosing to do independents they're not doing anything else."

A former AEW Women's World Champion fractured her arm on the latest episode of Collision
Injury-related problems in the Tony Khan-led company do not seem to be ending anytime soon. Riho got hurt during her match against Lady Frost on the latest episode of Collision.
After the show, the 27-year-old Japanese wrestler posted a picture of herself on Instagram with the following caption:
"I just fractured my arm but I’m doing very well," Riho wrote.
Besides the AEW Women's World Championship, Riho has won several titles, such as the Jiyūgaoka Six-Person Tag Team Championship and the Asia Dream Tag Team Title. It will be interesting to see when she will return to in-ring competition.
