Saraya signed with WWE in 2011 while failing in her first attempt in the previous year. She was deployed to Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) after she signed with the industry. She participated in a tournament for NXT Women's Championship and beat opponents like Tamina Snuka, Alicia Fox, and Emma to mark her inaugural NXT Women's title. Saraya made her main roster debut with WWE in 2014. She accepted the challenge of AJ Lee for the Divas Title and defeated her successfully. She became the first woman to win a title on debut at just 21 years of age. She was ordered to leave her NXT title after this title win by the WWE. She lost her Divas Title to AJ Lee even after initially being reluctant to face the opponent. She started feuding with AJ Lee and beat her again at SummerSlam 2014 to regain her title. She faced a neck injury and was suspended by WWE for violating norms. She made her come back the next day after retirement on SmackDown as a General Manager and was appointed to that designation by Vince McMahon and his son Shane McMahon. She went on to manage The Kabuki Warriors. She was placed in the 17th position among the top 50 Greatest Women Superstars of all time by the WWE in 2021.
