Swerve Strickland has been involved in a feud with The Hurt Syndicate ever since he rejected MVP's offer to join their group. Hence, when Bobby Lashley finally made his AEW debut, he attacked Swerve and laid him out.
The All Mighty will now step into the ring for his debut match against Swerve at AEW Full Gear. However, MVP would do anything to pick up a win here since Shelton Benjamin already lost to the former AEW World Champion. It's quite possible that a new member could join the group and interfere in the match. MVP has also teased the possibility of a new member joining the group recently and he has also handed out his business cards to several stars backstage. However, the ideal fourth member would be AJ Francis fka Top Dolla.
Top Dolla has a lot of history with Swerve Strickland dating back to their time in NXT together. Swerve formed a faction with Top Dolla, Ashante Thee Adonis, and B-Fab called Hit Row. However, just as the group was beginning to gain momentum, Swerve ditched them to join AEW. Since the former NXT star's departure, the group lost all momentum which eventually led to AJ being released from the company.
Hence, AJ could harbor a lot of resentment against the man he once called his friend and this would be the perfect opportunity for him to take out his frustration on Swerve. AJ also ran into MVP and the rest of The Hurt Syndicate during the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight. They all seemed to get along well in their interaction which could be a deciding factor in AJ coming to AEW. The former WWE star could interfere in the match and help Bobby Lashley pick up the win at Full Gear.

MVP slams Swerve Strickland for thinking he can fight The Hurt Syndicate all by himself
Since the feud between Swerve and The Hurt Syndicate began, the former has been trying to battle them all by himself and it hasn't ended well for him. Last week on Dynamite, the former AEW World Champion tried to fight Lashley but was jumped from behind by Shelton Benjamin. This resulted in him getting laid out again.
This week on Rampage, MVP slammed Strickland for his arrogance in thinking that he could take on The Hurt Syndicate all by himself. He also called it arrogance that Swerve believes he is the most dangerous man in the company when Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin are part of the same roster.
"Take Swerve Strickland for example. He's got so much to learn, but he won't listen. That is arrogance, and it's his arrogance that the people love about him. But, it's also his greatest weakness. Swerve Strickland thinks that one man can beat three. That's arrogance. Swerve Strickland calls himself the most dangerous man in AEW. With Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin, that is arrogance. And arrogance, much like pride, goeth before the fall," MVP said.
It will be interesting to see whether Swerve Strickland will be able to overcome the numbers and win his match at Full Gear.
