The Elite has been dominating the entire All Elite Wrestling locker room and taking advantage of The Young Bucks' EVP positions. The faction and Hangman will team up at Blood and Guts to take on Team AEW, featuring Swerve Strickland, Mark Briscoe, the Acclaimed, and Darby Allin.
Kota Ibushi, who was once hugely associated with Team Elite, could replace Hangman at the match. He signed his AEW contract in November 2023. Since then, he has made a handful of appearances for the promotion.
The Golden Star had injured his ankle earlier this year in January and was absent from the squared circle. He recently returned for in-ring action at the GLEAT event, which means he is seemingly cleared. Meanwhile, Adam Page has aligned with The Elite to take on his arch-nemesis, Swerve Strickland.
This means the Cowboy could go into business for himself rather than the team at the Blood and Guts match. It is possible that Young Bucks may have sensed the threat earlier and have Kota Ibushi in store as a backup. If "Hangman" Adam Page acts out of line ahead of their match, they could even throw him out of the team and replace him with Kota.

The Elite and Team AEW collided on a recent Dynamite
Nine members of Blood and Guts were confirmed on the recent edition of Dynamite. The main event between Swerve Strickland and Kazuchika Okada was interrupted by The Young Bucks, which later caused chaos.
In the closing moments of the show, Darby Allin came through the rafters and helped the Babyface team. He later announced himself as the final member of Team AEW.
It will be interesting to see who will emerge victorious this week at Blood and Guts.
