MVP formed The Hurt Syndicate alongside Shelton Benjamin in AEW following his debut in September 2024. Bobby Lashley soon joined his former Hurt Business stablemate, and they have been vocal about their mission statement to dominate the roster.
Over the past few months, MVP has been scouting for the perfect fourth member to join their group. The veteran has handed out business cards to several talents backstage but has not yet revealed whom he has chosen. The former WWE star could reveal the fourth member at AEW Fight for the Fallen 2025.
One of the stars who received a business card was The Acclaimed's Max Caster. While Caster and Anthony Bowens have been successful in the past, they have been having issues lately since Bowens learned that Caster kept MVP's business card instead of throwing it away. They have interrupted each other during their segments and appeared visibly frustrated on TV. The former Tag Team Champions have also not wrestled together as a tag team since AEW Full Gear 2024.
However, Max Caster and Anthony Bowens will compete tonight at AEW Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen 2025 against The Hurt Syndicate. This could be the perfect opportunity for Caster to align himself with MVP's stable by betraying his tag team partner.
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
Max calls himself the best wrestler alive, and the only way to prove it is by breaking away from his tag team roots and aligning himself with a starmaker like MVP. Additionally, Caster has been acting like a heel in recent weeks, which could be a sign of something to come.
Caster could either attack Bowens from behind or just walk away in the middle of the match and allow Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin to pick apart his tag team partner.
Max Caster sent a message ahead of his match against The Hurt Syndicate
Max Caster has a lucrative opportunity at AEW Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen 2025. He can finally break free from being a tag team wrestler and look to prove to everyone why he's the best wrestler alive. While Caster and Anthony Bowens have been bickering in the past, he won't want his tag team partner to get a sniff off his plans.
Recently, Caster took to social media to say that he was going to be the one to break up The Hurt Syndicate. This could be his way of hiding his real intentions since no one would suspect anything, given his recent antics on social media.
"I will be the one to break up the Hurt Syndicate and it starts now.”

It will be interesting to see whether The Hurt Syndicate will get a new member at Fight for the Fallen.
