On this week's edition of Monday Night RAW, there was an intense promo battle between former AEW star CM Punk and Seth Rollins. This segment was personal, unfiltered, and filled with emotions.
During this confrontation, Rollins acknowledged The Second City Saint's time in AEW. The former referred to the Jacksonville-based company as "the competition" and this led to a variety of reactions from fans as well as veterans. Nevertheless, it would be interesting if the Tony Khan-led promotion decided to fire back at the WWE.
In the past, AEW used to drop WWE references regularly in their programs. Although this hardly happens anymore, the company could temporarily go back to its old ways. Let's take a look at three ways All Elite Wrestling can fire back at the Stamford-based promotion after the controversial RAW segment:

#3. AEW EVPs The Young Bucks might return to mock WWE
AEW AVPs Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson (The Young Bucks) are infamous for making WWE references during their matches. In the past, they have dropped The Shield, Hulk Hogan, and Ric Flair/Shawn Michaels references. Furthermore, fans also noticed the mention of the Stamford-based company in their backstage segments and on the YouTube channel, 'Being The Elite.'
The Young Bucks are currently on a hiatus from AEW. They are scheduled to lock horns with Great-O-Khan and an unknown competitor at Wrestle Dynasty for the IWGP Tag Team Championships. Even though it has not been revealed when the duo will return to the Jacksonville-based promotion, it might be interesting to see them fire back at "the competition" for the controversial RAW segment.
#2. Former WWE Champion Jon Moxley
The second half of 2024 was Jon Moxley's year. He is the leader of The Death Riders, a faction that has unleashed mayhem in the company. Apart from him, this group consists of Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli, Marina Shafir, and PAC. Additionally, the former Dean Ambrose is the company's reigning World Champion. Once upon a time, he was a member of the Shield, the very same faction Seth Rollins was a part of. They were also fierce rivals after this faction split.
The Purveyor of Violence's current gimmick sees him being reckless, both inside the ring and on the microphone. Tony Khan might allow him to cut an anti-WWE promo because of this. By doing so, All Elite Wrestling would not only fire back at the Stamford-based promotion. This would provide more depth to Moxley's character.
#1. MJF is famous for running his mouth
Maxwell Jacob Friedman is one of All Elite Wrestling's biggest names. He is a former International Champion and the longest-reigning AEW World Champion. Even though he is an excellent in-ring competitor, he is one of the greatest talkers in the modern era.
Throughout The Salt of the Earth's run in the Jacksonville-based company, he has dropped WWE references numerous times. Predominantly, during promo battles with huge names such as Chris Jericho and CM Punk. MJF is brash, loud, and unpredictable. Who knows what goes through his mind when he gets on the mic? But it will make for must-see TV if Tony Khan permits him to go all in on WWE.
